JL Audio

JL Audio was founded in 1975, when two young audio enthusiasts, Jim Birch and Lucio Proni, decided to start their own business. By the early 1990s, the company had gained recognition as a manufacturer of high-quality audio equipment for cars. In 2005, a third direction was added to the existing two production areas – audio equipment for cars and marine yachts – with the introduction of high-end active subwoofers for home AV systems. Currently, the company employs 300 people.
