This device enhances the already effective Garmin EchoMap PLUS series, but it comes with many improvements, essentially making it a new model in the EchoMap series.
The main differences include the fact that, following the advancement in fishing electronics, Garmin has equipped this product with expanded sonar network capabilities by integrating two Garmin Network Ethernet ports. This allows the sonar network to connect both essential transducers and to exchange data between devices anywhere on the boat.
A significant new feature is that the EchoMap Ultra fish finder includes the latest Garmin sonar technology – UHD (Ultra High Definition) side and down imaging. Additionally, this fish finder can be connected to the Panoptix LiveScope LVS12 transducer for live imaging via a standard 12-pin transducer connector, without needing additional black boxes or extra wiring.
The screen resolution meets HD quality and fully matches the resolution of current sonar transducers. The image will be high-quality and clear down to the finest details.
The 'with transducer' package includes the GT54UHD-TM transducer, which is the most advanced transducer currently available, incorporating all beams – 2D, down imaging, and side imaging for operation at various but not all possible frequencies supported by this fish finder. For specific needs, we recommend consulting about the fish finder’s compatibility with other Garmin transducers. The fish finder supports all Panoptix™ series transducers

The built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect the fish finder to a smartphone and operate through the Active Captain app – downloading maps, updates, and more.
The fish finder interface is based on a touchscreen, with additional physical button support. Three buttons are dedicated to shortcuts for frequently used views.
The fish finder supports Quickdraw Community on Garmin Connect, which provides ability to map the waters of interest yourself and share data on the social network.
