1. General Information

Watersnake Pike Fight 2026 by Eholotes.eu is an online fishing competition based on the principle “catch, photograph, film and release”. The competition takes place online at tournaments.eholotes.eu.

Before registering, please make sure you have downloaded the ONLYFISH.EE app.

The competition is organised by the fishing tackle shop Eholotes.eu, the official distributor of Watersnake products in the Baltic States.

2. Participants

Anyone residing in the Baltic States (Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia) may participate. Participants under the age of 18 are also welcome!

3. Competition Schedule

  • 9–18 October 2026: Participant registration on the official website, tournaments.eholotes.eu. The ONLYFISH.EE app must be downloaded.

  • 23 October 2026, 08:00: Fishing begins.

  • 25 October 2026, 18:00: Fishing ends.

4. Competition Area

The competition takes place in all public bodies of water in the Baltic States—Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania—including public rivers, lakes, the sea and ponds.

5. Fishing Rules

  • Location services (GPS) must be enabled on the participant’s device when submitting a catch in the mobile app. Otherwise, the catch will not be counted.

  • The use of live bait or natural bait is strictly prohibited.

  • Trolling and vertical jigging are not permitted.

6. Catch Registration

Only photos and videos of fish caught by the registered participant during the official competition period may be submitted in the app.

For each fish, the participant must submit:

  • One clear photograph showing the fish on the official measuring board, with its length clearly visible.

  • One video clearly showing the fish being removed from the measuring board and released back into the water.

Fish must be handled carefully and released as quickly as possible. Photos or videos showing bleeding, seriously injured or improperly handled fish may be rejected.

7. Results and Tie-Breaking Rules

One point is awarded for every centimetre of fish length. Rankings are determined as follows:

  • Overall ranking: The total points for the five (5) longest pike caught across all competition days.

  • Longest pike overall: Points for the single (1) longest pike caught across all competition days.

  • Longest pike of the day: Points for the single (1) longest pike caught on the relevant day.

If participants have the same total score, rankings are determined in the following order:

  • The participant with the longer fish ranks higher.

  • If still tied, the length of the second-longest fish is compared.

  • If still tied, the third-longest fish is compared.

  • If still tied, the fourth-longest fish is compared.

  • If still tied, the fifth-longest fish is compared.

  • If still tied, the participant who registered their longest fish earlier ranks higher.

8. Safety

During the event, participants are fully responsible for their own safety and the safety of other people.

9. Entry Fee and Equipment

  • Entry fee: €30 for registrations made from 9 to 18 October 2026.

  • Official equipment: Once payment has been received, the organiser will send each registered participant an official measuring board.

  • Participant code: Before the competition begins, each participant will receive a unique code. It must be written clearly on the measuring board with a waterproof marker so that it is visible in every catch-submission photograph.

10. Catch Recording, Photographing and Submission Guidelines

Participants must upload the required files for every eligible fish through the mobile app. The catch photograph taken on the official measuring board must clearly show:

  • The fish’s full length.

  • The participant’s unique code written on the measuring board.

11. Fair Participation and Code of Conduct

All participants must:

  • Follow all instructions from the organiser and the jury.
